ARALDICA VINI 12% ABV
Araldica, founded in 1954, is one of Piemonte’s most forward-thinking cooperatives, specialising in the production of Gavi and Barbera. Their aim is "...to provide a range that is both understandable and accessible. Quite simply, wine for drinking and enjoying."
The grapes grow in south-west-facing vineyards in the Asti region of Piemonte. After harvesting the grapes are gently crushed and left to settle. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the bright fruit flavours, while three months lees ageing adds depth and texture to the final wine.
Aromas of fresh green apple, lime peel and grapefruit lead onto the palate, where a hint of honeysuckle and almond add finesse and subtle minerality lifts the finish.
Perfect with a Ceasar salad, accompanied by chicken or white fish.
