BOUTINOT FRANCE 13.5% ABV
Of all the wines we produce and represent, it is the small Cuvée Jean-Paul range that truly epitomises the Boutinot story and our philosophy. Named after the son of our founder, Paul Boutinot, since the first bottling it has formed the backbone of our company and has proven our expertise in blending.
Each vintage, our winemakers search out plots in the southern Rhône which fall outside of the deliniated appellation areas, but still produce exceptional fruit; the sites local growers use to make wine they enjoy with their family and friends. Traditional vinification methods are used and the grapes are cool-fermented to preserve the developed fruit flavours, before spending 5-10 days on the skins before final pressing.
Classic southern Rhône flavours of baked red fruit and leafy notes make this a delicious, uncomplicated wine.
Great with pizza, meat or root vegetable stew, as well as well-matured, hard cheeses.
